WILL THE UNDERTAKER VS. STING HAPPEN AT WRESTLE-MANIA XXXII?

The Undertaker is facing Bray Wyatt, while Sting is facing Triple H at WrestleMania XXXI, but by the end of the PPV, these two legends have to go face to face to setup their match at WrestleMania XXXII. I want to see this match more than anyone, and building a feud for an entire year is the proper way to book a match that will be another “once in a lifetime.” The reason why I want to see these two men going face to face is that WrestleMania needs a huge moment that we can talk about the next day. Yes, many people within the IWC don’t like Roman Reigns, and the main event won’t satisfy the IWC, but Sting and Undertaker will give us that unforgettable moment.

The Deadman is the true meaning of a WWE Superstar. He’s been with the company when the product struggled in the mid 90s, the boom during The Attitude Era and the current P.G. product. Meanwhile, Sting was the true meaning of a WCW Superstar. These two never crossed paths, and a showdown between these icons would bring wrestling fans back to the WWE product. What makes this matchup so perfect is that they both have their supernatural characters. The Undertaker has his undead character with use of lightning and scary movie. On the other hand, Sting makes random appearances in the rafters and plays mindgames by using light play. The characters have always been compared to by the fans, and this is the match that we all want to see.

Boxing is getting Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd, wrestling fans should get the same thing between Undertaker and Sting. I find this funny because of the fact that we waited five years to see Mayweather and Pacquiao and wrestling fans have been waiting to see Undertaker vs. Sting for four years. With WrestleMania taking place in 10 days, Undertaker will be 50 years old whereas Sting will be 56. The concern going into this bout will be the pace as both of these wrestlers are getting older in age. Another concern that I have is an injury as that could result in a long recovery period. But with the match-taking place in 2016, both men can get healthy, rest and prepare physically and mentally.

What makes this perfect for the WWE is that they have an entire year to build this match. When WWE promoted The Rock vs. John Cena, they used the entire calendar year to promote the match. It got people excited and the wrestling fan waited for that anticipation. The wrestling fan can already add that WrestleMania XXXII will be in Dallas. WWE will do its best to sell out Jerry’s World and break the all time WrestleMania attendance record, and you also add to the fact that Undertaker and Sting both live in Texas. Consider it as a farewell match for both superstars. We’ve been dying to see Undertaker and Sting for years, and in 10 days from now, WWE has to set the table for the match. A year is a long time to wait, but with a match with this kind of magnitude could make WrestleMania one of the greatest WrestleMania’s of all time. Let’s see if it will rival WrestleMania XVII (still the greatest WrestleMania of all time) and last year’s WrestleMania XXX
